The voice of Marina Hyde on the US election

“They all end up in the wood chipper,” I croaked in my best Long Island. In November I had the chance to crack out my feted Anthony Scaramucci impression while voicing Marina Hyde’s analysis of Trump’s victory in the US election for The Guardian newspaper. Journalist and writer (not to mention Richard Osman’s co-host on the enormously popular The Rest Is Entertainment podcast), Marina Hyde writes fantastically arch columns which I am periodically lucky enough to voice for The Guardian’s The Weekend podcast. And to be chosen to voice this particular article, in the wake of a truly earth-shattering piece of news, was an honour - even if the news itself wasn’t quite what I had hoped for…
